Job Description Job Description As a Tennis Professional at Aaron Family JCC of Dallas, you will be joining an exceptional and well-known tennis program in the area. You will report to the Assistant General Manager – Sports, Fitness & Wellness and will be an integral part of keeping building and growing the program to its full potential. This is an hourly position. Hourly rates for group lessons and a percentage of private lessons What you will be doing: · Provides beginning through advanced instruction (private and group) for all levels and ages of players. · Assists in promoting and conducting tennis clinics, private lessons, special events, and programs to attract and maintain members'/guests' tennis interests. · Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive tennis lessons and programs to ensure students develop along a pathway that will encourage continued involvement in tennis. · Ensure students understand tennis rules, scoring procedures, safety rules, and tennis etiquette. · Enforces all Aaron’s Family JCC of Dallas rules and regulations governing the use of the club/facility, its equipment, and other property. · Quickly and efficiently responds to member/guest questions, comments, and concerns in a professional, tactful manner. Qualifications: · Net Generation Certified or College Tennis experience preferred. · Experience teaching tennis lessons to adults and juniors of various levels. · USTA 4.0 minimum preferred. · Thorough knowledge of the games of Tennis and Pickleball. · Positive attitude and self-motivated. · Works well collaboratively in a team environment. · Pass all required criminal history background checks (which may, depending on the position you are hired for, include an FBI fingerprint check). · Adhere to our Mission, Core Values, and all HR policies and procedures. · Must be able to meet routine office physical demands including climbing stairs, carrying up to 20-pound objects and possessing the dexterity and vision to operate office computers and equipment.
